Brooke Ashley D'Ambrosio is a self-taught mixed media artist. Through various mediums she explores the sensuality and power of the female form.

A native of Stony Brook, New York, Brooke attended the State University of New York at Potsdam, where she received a Bachelors in Art History. Surrounding herself with artists of the past, Brooke finds inspiration in the Hollywood glamour and pinups of the 1950's. This love stretches beyond the canvas to the silver screen where actresses like Hedy Lamarr, Anita Ekberg, and Betty Page ruled not just the red carpet but the world with their beauty and confidence.

She is currently the Exhibitions Manager at Long Island's Gallery North, as well as curator for monthly exhibitions at the Velvet Lounge in Setauket, NY.
